I just turned 22.

According to neurologists, that's the age when your brain is at its best; at the ned of development, and the decay hasn't yet started.

Damn, doesn't feel like that.

My big brother moved to Helsinki, and I moved to the apartment he had before that. I pay the rent to my grandma, the place is near the university, and at a reasonable bike distance from work, and several shops nearby.

Not bad.

Now lets see how long it takes before I make a huge mess out of the place.

So, the main harddrive failed spectacularly last week. It's fixed now, but I was reliant on public internet for a week or so. Also, there was some problems with the video card, but it's fixed now (at least, I hope).

Summer time, no job, no student benefits, 25 euros on my bank account, my party didn't get a seat in the European Parliament. Fuck.

We're having our apartment bathroom worked on. And by worked on, I mean they ripped the wall out and are rebuilding the shit from scratch. We're in exile from the house for a few weeks. I'm currently posting from a university computer, and I still do some daily browsing on them, but it has its limitations. So, won't be around much for the coming few weeks, as the renovation is underway.

Because I know you fuckers, I'm disabling commenting on this post, since I won't be able to moderate them. Feel free to spam my previous entries with links to gayporn and whatnot.

You kbow what, let's have biology teaching like the Intelligent Design people want it. Let's talk about the weaknesses of Evolution (after all, it's just a theory), and teach ID alongside it, and let the kids decide.

And why stay at biology? We should take the same approach to physics, history, home-ec, maths. But most importantly, the English Language.

I mean, what a mess the grammar is, you get irregular verb forms, spelling that doesn't match the pronounciation, and all kinds of ambiguities. Let's talk about those weaknesses, and teach Lojban alongside it, and let the kids decide.

I find is amusing that I have the cencor banner over my userpage header, with parts of Marx' and Bakunin's books showing.

I guess anarchy and liberal forms of socialism count as reactionary.

As one might guess, I'm in Obama's camp. I think that he will have a positive effect on the US and the world at large.

Now, he doesn't match my views exactly, not by a fetch, really. But he's more than just the lesser evil. He rides the fence on many issues I would rather see him take a stand on. Still, he's preferable to the other option.

I rmember early on the year when the Obamania started, I didn't jump the bandwagon then, he was too right wing for me them (I cheered for Edwards, yes, an old white guy, but more closer to my views, PCness be damned). Even when it came down to Clinton/Obama I still really didn't have an opinion, I don't like Hillary, and Obama started to seem better, but still...

At that time I was also becoming very cynical about representive democracy as a whole, but recently, my faith has had a small boost, mostly because my candidate got through in the local communal elections, yay.

So, today might be a historical day. Either we get a rich man that represents one of the traditional power parties, or.. er...
