Rock the vote or rock the boat.

So, it's election day for you gringos.

As one might guess, I'm in Obama's camp. I think that he will have a positive effect on the US and the world at large.

Now, he doesn't match my views exactly, not by a fetch, really. But he's more than just the lesser evil. He rides the fence on many issues I would rather see him take a stand on. Still, he's preferable to the other option.

Even when it came down to Clinton/Obama I still really didn't have an opinion, I don't like Hillary, and Obama started to seem better, but still...

At that time I was also becoming very cynical about representive democracy as a whole, but recently, my faith has had a small boost, mostly because my candidate got through in the local communal elections, yay.

A man who didn't get financing for his political campaign by lobbyists and now he's elected president. BRILLIANT!
